ABOUT THE FOUNDER

A Holland-born British Kashmiri ex-New Yorker who once held a Canadian passport, SHIRIN MAJID IS a multidisciplinary creative director and artist with more than 25 years experience at creative agencies, start ups and MEDIA BRANDS in London, New York, Washington DC, and Sydney.

Most recently, SHE was Executive Creative Director for Virtue Europe, the creative agency of Vice Media Group, and Deputy Executive Creative Director at VCCP. With a focus on elevating cultural relevance, SHE’S worked with brands all over the world such as Johnnie Walker, H&M, Spotify, UNICEF, British Red Cross, Smirnoff, Unilever, BBC, and Cadbury. A champion for inclusive culturally progressive work, SHE was named to the Campaign and Creative Equals Future Leaders list in 2019.

SHE frequently features on CREATIVE INDUSTRY award juries including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Creative Circle, and Campaign Big, and HER work has been celebrated by Cannes Lions, D&AD, Creative Review, Communications Arts, BBC, Guardian, New York Times, Campaign, Ad Age, AdWeek, and It’s Nice That.

as a contemporary artist and curator, with a Masters in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in London, her work reimagines the concept of utopia to challenge conventional notions of identity, home, and place. In 2023, she launched a global curatorial project called This Must Be No Place with a 22-Artist exhibition at Safehouse in Peckham, London, to exploring the fluidity of identity and the transience of home .
